History

On July 26, 2010, around 11:54 p.m., Guido Shaw-Lemmetti and another person were walking along the street near 1832, rue Joliette in Montréal. A suspect got out of a dark Chrysler 300 M and opened fire on the two victims, who fled north on rue Joliette. Shaw-Lemmetti was hit by gunfire and collapsed in the alleyway near 1875, rue Aylwin. He died a few hours later. Several witnesses positively identified the suspect as Sylvain Maheu. A Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued against him. Despite efforts to locate him, he is still at large.
